Wednesday June 9th: Phil Vassar 9:15pm
Heroes and Thieves 7:30pm
Phil Vassar’s unbounded energy and limitless talent have proven him, again and again, as one of Nashville’s most prolific and versatile stars. His resume boasts six #1 hits for country artists including Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Jo Dee Messina, and Collin Raye, and three more as an artist in his own right. He’s been named the ASCAP Songwriter of the Year twice and has taken top honors from the Academy of Country Music, Billboard and MusicRow. Now releasing his sixth album, Traveling Circus, Vassar approaches his uniquely piano-based, rhythm and blues-infused, infectiously buoyant brand of country music from the back-to-basics school of thought.

Saturday June 12th: Dokken 9:15pm and Slaughter 7:00pm
Six Chamber 5:00pm
In 1990 Slaughter hit radio, MTV and the U.S. touring circuit like a tornado- coming seemingly out of nowhere to roll through everything in its path and turn it upside down. Touring the world with bands that they loved, Kiss, Ozzy, and others meant the good times were just a song away, and their first hit single, “Up All Night” certainly fit into that mold, their second chart-topper, “Fly To The Angels” was more representative of the spirituality and awareness that goes into most of the band’s music and lyrics. But never were Slaughter more accurately represented that live onstage in front of their legions of devoted fans over the last ten years.
During the 1980’s, the music scene produced a multitude of hard rock clones. It seemed as if every singer screamed the same, and every guitarist was trying to sound just like the next. Thankfully, the 80’s also saw the rise of one of those most respected vocalists of the decade, Don Dokken. With his unique voice, and passionate style, he helped to make the band Dokken one the biggest acts of the 80’s hard rock scene.
